Each year, Central Blood Bank recognizes the top 20 groups that donate the most units to our community blood program. On average, these donor groups account for almost one-fifth of the total units collected at Central Blood Bank.
In the fall, Central Blood Bank holds a luncheon for representatives of the Top 20 donor groups to recognize their organization’s outstanding support of, and dedication to, the community blood program.
Last year, these local organizations, which are listed below by rank, accounted for approximately 17 percent of the total number of units collected by Central Blood Bank. We greatly appreciate the time and commitment of these generous donor groups.
