and other pediatric patients!
Lucas Goeller stole our hearts two years ago when he received a lifesaving liver transplant. Today, this sweet little boy still requires extensive medical treatment, including blood transfusions. Lucas requires additional, very serious surgery, but it has been postponed twice now. His surgery is now is tentatively scheduled for Friday, July 28.
Lucas has inspired many people to donate blood in his honor. As a result of these life-saving blood donations, many hospital patients — including babies and very young children – have a second chance for a healthy life.
As Lucas’ surgery date approaches, please consider participating in a Love for Lucas blood drive. O negative blood is especially in need, because it can be transfused into all patients, regardless of blood type.
