Residents in the Pittsburgh area found a number of different ways to celebrate King's birthday, all of them focusing on the continuation of what he started. At St. Benedict the Moor in the Hill District, a blood drive was held. Organizers said not everyone celebrates King's birthday, so the blood drive is a way for all races and religions to come together.
